- I created my blog Seasonality, in September of '07, to chronicle our quest for the good life once we'd found our heart's home here in the Texas Hill Country. A few years later I launched Miss Becky Goes Abroad, so that I might go back and share stories of our adventures in Southeast Asia and Bahrain, as young newlyweds in the 70s. So glad you stopped by!

We are extremely lucky! John took up photography when he first went overseas because there wasn't much to do out in the jungle, and he could get cameras, enlargers, etc. fairly cheap in Singapore. He was obsessed with it by the time I got there, so we have tons of photos from that time period!
